ETP HYDRO-GRIP consists of two hardened steel sleeves with an intermediate layer of grease as apressure medium. Depending on design the sleeves expand towards the spindle or towards the spindle and tool. In this way the wood-working tool is automatically centered. The drive from
the spindle is transitted through friction between the large contact surfaces. The use of hydraulic pressurizing, in conjunction with high precision in manufacturing, ensures a good runout and repeatability.
Many of the same tool holders below are offered through our online catalog.

Type A for permanent fitting in the cutter-head.
The hydraulic sleeve is designed with a light press force fit against the tool. This means that the unit must be fastened together by screws. When pressurized the sleeve expand only against the spindle.By pressing off the tool the sleeve can be reused and refitted for new
assemblies. This type is made only in short versions.
Type A: pressurized by a grease pump

Type B can easily be interchanged between different tool heads.
The hydraulic sleeve is provided with a thread and knurled ring nut and is therefore easily interchanged between tools. When pressurizing the outer sleeve expands against the tool and the inner against the spindle. Several different tools can be clamped on type B at the same
time. Type B is manufactured in overall lengths (L) ranging from 75 to 285 mm.
Type B: pressurized by grease pump.

Type BI can easily be interchanged between different tool heads.
The hydraulic sleeve is provided with a thread and knurled ring nut and is therefore easily interchanged between tools. When pressurizing the outer sleeve expands against the tool and the inner against the spindle. Several different tools can be clamped on type BI at the same
time. Type BI is manufactured as standard only in short lengths.
Type BI: pressurized by tightening a pressure screw.

|
Type C can easily be interchanged between different tool heads.
These hydraulic sleeves work like type B but are designed without thread and knurled ring nut, why the tools must be fastened by bolts through the flange of the sleeve.
As regards the sizes type C can be made like the type B.

|
Type CI can easily be interchanged between different tool heads.
These hydraulic sleeves work like type BI but are designed without thread and knurled ring nut, why the tools must be fastened by bolts through the flange of the sleeve.
As regards the sizes type CI can be made like the type BI.

Type AL and type AIL for tools with large outer diameter and large centre bore.
Types AL and AIL are for permanent fitting. The hydraulic sleeves are designed with a light press fit against the tools. This means that the units can be fastened together by screws. When pressurizing the sleeves expand only against the spindle.
Characteristic for these types of sleeves is the fact that they are pressurized from either end surface.
Type AL: pressurized by grease a pump
Type AIL: pressurized by tightening a pressure screw

|
Type BL and type BIL for tools with large outer diameter and large centre bore.
Types BL and BIL are equipped with a threaded ring nut and can therefore easily be interchanged between different tool heads. At pressurizing the sleeves expand toward both the spindle and the tool. Several different tools can be clamped on types BL and BIL at the same time.
Characteristic for these types of sleeves is the fact that they are pressurized from either end surface.
Type BL: pressurized by a grease pump.
Type BIL: pressurized by tightening a pressure screw.

Type AE, type AEI for dia-tools in tenoners.
The sleeves are designed with two inner keyways for spindles with keys.
The sleeves are meant for permanent fitting and expand only against the spindle.
Type AE: pressurized by a grease pump.
Type AEI: pressurized by tightening a pressure screw.
|
|

|
Types E and EI for dia-tools in tenoners.
The sleeves are designed with two inner keyways for spindles with keys or with an inside hexagonal profile for a straight spindle with a corresponding profile.
The sleeves are meant for permanent fitting and expand only against the spindle.
Type E: pressurized by a grease pump.
Type EI: pressurized by tightening a pressure screw.

Type D for fast and precise mounting of support bearings.
Type D is developed for machines, where the spindle has need for an outboard bearing.
This gives the spindle and the tool good runout as well as good repeat accuracy and at the same time admitting high rpm speeds.
Quick and simple toolchanging.

Type G Precision chuck for overhead routers.
Hydraulic chuck for perfect runout and repeat accuracy equipped with a safety guard, which prevents the tool from falling out even when the chuck is not pressurized.
The pressure screw is protected from dirt by a turnable plastic ring.
Type G offers quick and simple toolchanging.
For different types of machine tapers i.e. SK 30, SK 40, BT 30, BT 35, BT 40, HSK 63F, SCM 30, CMS 30.

|
Type GE Hydraulic arbor for overhead routers.
This hydraulic arbor is ideally suited to the conditions that exist when overhead routing in wood. It can be used in machines with or without tool changers. The arbor meets today´s most stringent requirements for increased precision and simple tool changing and allows optimal
results to be obtained.
For different types of machine tapers i.e. SK 30, SK 40, BT 30, BT 35, BT 40, HSK 63F, SCM 30, CMS 30.

|
Hydro-mechanical precision chuck for overhead routers.
The chuck transmits very high torque. It clamps all kind of toolshank material. Allows a shank tolerance h7. Easy to preset programming length very accurate.
The chuck holds the toolshank mechanically. This means there is no hydraulic influence when running the tool in the production machine. An external oilpump is used for clamping and releasing the tool.
For different types of machine tapers i.e. SK 30, SK 40, BT 30, BT 35, BT 40, HSK 63F, SCM 30, CMS 30.
